Burns Piano Studio students have participated in MTAC State Conventions, the Southern California Junior Bach Festival Showcase, the Santa Barbara Youth Symphony, CM Panel Honors, the JCM Chamber Series, Ventura chamber festivals, and master classes with leading pedagogues — including Dennis Alexander, Jane Bastien, Melody Bober, Tom Gerou, Forrest Kinney, Gayle Kowalchyk, E. L. Lancaster, Dmitry Rachmanov, and Peter Yazbeck, among others.
